Today we followed the protest in Strumica where unfortunately we are continuously faced with a group of activists who in the name of environmental protection, but without solid arguments articulate accusations, call for hatred and condemnation of the Project - "Mine of Opportunities Ilovica-Shtuka". but also to all those who support its realization, not believing in the empty repetition of untruths, misinformation and apocalyptic scenarios.
We respect everyone's right to free expression, but we are disappointed that this group is trying in the pre-election period to irresponsibly "bargain" with the fate of thousands of residents in the region who through the Project have the opportunity to secure quality jobs and significantly improve living standards.
This largest foreign direct investment in the country will not pollute the soil, water and air, nor will it pose a danger to human health. Working together, we will all prove that in the new era - Sustainable Mining and Agriculture Can Coexist Successfully Together.
